This achromatic microscope objective is color corrected at 656.3 nm and 486.1 nm. Its RMS mounting thread (0.8 in.-36 TPI) matches the industry standard, making this objective compatible with non–Melles Griot microscopes. Color coding makes identifying objective power easy when numerical markings cannot be seen. The objective lens is antireflection coated for 400 to 700 nm. The housing is made of brass, with a black finish on all surfaces.
