Another in the fine line of Mavin Speakers, we have expanded our line and offer this wonderful 15 inch woofer.
We build for high output and a very clean sound, a combination that we think works best. This EM-TL3806Y-8 is a 8 ohm woofer with a minumum SPL of 91 dB at useable levels, put in the proper enclosure this woofer will rattle the fillings in your your teeth.

I purchased this woofer last November. My plan was to build a mini scoop, as a my Xmas gift for myself. Yes, I was skeptical when it arrived, at only 9 lbs.. But once box was completed, (31h x 20w x 20d) I realized it's a beast!! Presently in my basement, I'm still breaking it in, pushing 150w through a Dayton sa-240b sub amp. It already vibrates the house lol, I can't wait to get some real to power into it. This sub really compliments the four "sister" 12"s I previously bought. [...read more]

Having blown my 15" Cerwin Vega speaker a couple years ago, I refoamed it and while it sounded good, it only lasted a couple years. This time I replaced it with this speaker after several days of research. I chose the 8 ohm because I'm actually using it as a subwoofer powered by an amp. 4 ohms couldn't handle it.
