I purchased this to use with an 8" DVC I had laying around to use in a little Sub/sat system for my daughter. I know this may be an "old school" type of setup but it works surprisingly well. It is very balanced and makes a smooth transition to the satellite speakers which are refurbished Realistic Minimus-77's. The speaker outputs from the crossover are full range without a high pass section. Not a problem for me but if you have a smaller set of satellites you may want to incorporate a capacitor to limit your bass to them. This is a great bargain and if your not sure about not using a powered subwoofer set your worries aside. For 2.1 stereo listening this crossover will be the ticket, especially if your using an 80 wpc+ receiver. Shop price and quality and you'll wind up back here to order one!
