Looking to build a nice tight sounding speaker?
Many in the audio world prefer a dual 8" woofer over a single 12" woofer. This is because a dual 8" woofer system, will produce the same bass as the single 12" driver. It  will do it better with a much tighter sounding bass. Due to the smaller size, a  8" woofer recovers much faster than the 12" driver; after the big bass note has hit, the 12" driver is still returning to the resting position, while the 8" driver is already there waiting, and ready to produce the next sound. This gives you a much cleaner sound because there is minimal sound overlap. 

This kit is great for home use, and is perfect for a dual woofer 150 watt speaker project. Each component is designed to the highest home theater standards.
The kit can also be adapted for mobile use. If you can't fit a big 12" driver how about a couple of eights down low?
Great for a woofer array to create a sound that surounds your ears.
With a sound pressure level of 90 dB, this is a very healthy setup, with higher volume levels at lower wattage.

Well,..I haven't quite gotten around to completing the product, but I would like to take this opportunity to commend Electro-Marvin on EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
During construction of the speaker enclosure, I dropped the tweeter on the floor, and it smashed into tiny pieces that I could not fix. I contacted Electro Mavin and told him about my situation, and with-out hesitation, He sent me another tweeter, free of charge, and it appeared at my mailbox within the week.
So,....I feel obligated to say...Thank-you Electro mavin for making my day, and having awesome customer service.
