I installed these speakers in a 1.2 cu,ft, cabinet. The low end rolls off at about 100 hz. with this sealed cabinet design. The response is very smooth and clear. This is a big improvement over my old JBL center cabinet the contained 2, 4in speakers. I did eq it to my own taste and acoustics, well with in the parameters of a nice speaker cabinet. No regrets from buying it, especially for the price. Gets loud and takes all the power my receiver can give it. A nice edition to my Home Theatre.
